Thank you everyone who showed up for the KCH Kick-Off event on a beautiful Saturday afternoon! We had over 60 people on the call, along with our community members, elected officials, and candidates joined in. Thank you to Senator Lewis; Stephen Winslow, Councillor-At-Large (and candidate for Ward 6); Ward 3 Councillor Amanda Linehan, Ward 4 Councillor Ryan O’Malley, School Committee Member Adam Weldai, Ward 5 City Council Candidate Ari Taylor, Ward 8 City Council Candidate Nate B Kupel, and to Councillor-At-Large Debbie DeMaria who registered for the event, but had a last minute scheduling conflict.
Members of our community also submitted video messages of why they support Karen, and the connections she has made with all the different aspects of our community. Maddie Lam, Souad Akib, Kiley Fray, and Manjula Karamcheti are all brilliant community leaders and activists, who have worked side by side with Karen, and know the change she can bring to the City.
